Flats for (Almost) Every Season

I pretty much live in flats year round which is why I wanted to put together this list. I also keep thinking about “fall this” and “fall that” and thought “what about clothes I don’t want to buy or have just for one season?”. So, I started thinking about the flats in my closet I currently wear pretty much all year. For either walking around the city, wearing to work, or wearing out to different events. A mixture of casual, dressy, business-y, and the in-between.

I have my favorite pair of ballet flats. The Everlane day flats that I wore until they actually fell apart. They took me miles and miles around NYC and SF over the years. I replaced my black ones that fell apart with a soft ballerina pink which are so versatile. For casual sneakers, I find a simple pair of vans in black, white, and checkered to be perfect for days with a lot of walking involved. Or just casual days. And then there’s my favorite oxfords and monk straps to wear to work from Crockett & Jones.
