July overall ended up being a great month! A slow month which was much needed after previous months full of travel.
With the simplicity of the month, came a relaxation in putting together daily outfits. An outfit formula of simple tops, shorts, matched with fun bags and statement shoes. Plus of course layer-able coats (not pictured here) for chilly SF weather.
This Uniqlo top I found in Edinburgh in June has received a lot of wear and it’s quickly become the blouse I reach for the most. Another simple summer (but really all year) top that goes with everything is an always classic Lacoste polo. I’ve been seeing more and more polos pop up online and in person lately. I hope they’re having a comeback especially for fall! This one here is great if you’re looking for more of a sporty baggier look. This sleeveless one would be great for hotter days.
As for accessories, I stuck to mostly flats this past month. These jellies (a dupe of The Row) add a fun pop of color while also being super comfortable (i’m also thinking about getting them in clear) . If you want to splurge on a shoe, a Ferragamo flat is always a timeless option. For a more reasonable price and less traditional, a sheer flat like these are so cute.
I’m curious and excited to see what outfit inspiration August brings.
