After finding some really amazing vintage ‘60s dresses recently, which I shared in a post the other day, I got to thinking about mid-century inspired clothes to shop new. From tops and pants which can be so hit or miss. To brocade dresses and flow-y silhouettes like the vintage ones I found.
I love shopping vintage especially for it’s sustainability aspects. I also love appreciating and finding new designs influenced by the mid 20th century combined with a modern, fun touch. Plus, you’re more likely to find a newer dress in your size making shopping for occasions a bit easier.
After shopping around online a found quite a few fancy dresses that caught my eye. Ones that have a fun ’50s and ’60s touch. Any of these would be perfect if you have weddings to attend this spring/summer or a special occasion that requires a very special dress. See below!
