A Corduroy Blazer is the Perfect Fall Layer

A blazer is the perfect addition to any outfit during any season. But a blazer in a soft corduroy fabric for fall is my favorite version.

There’s something so vintage and classic about this timeless piece. So many good decades you can use for inspiration. Especially the 80’s i.e. When Harry Met Sally along with Annie Hall. These two movies are some of my favorite sources for autumn outfit influences.

An oversized trouser, a turtleneck, black or brown loafer, and a vintage coach bag are so perfect with a nice deep brown corduroy blazer. Perfect for work or a weekend around the city, you can’t go wrong with this classic cold weather ensemble.

And if you want to go a bit less masculine, I’ve been wearing mine a lot with wide leg jeans and a silk oxford for a sleeker more form fitted look. I’m also loving mini skirts with tights with my corduroy blazer and then adding a simple long sleeve cardigan and a loafer or boot. If you’re looking to go more dressy, a kitten heel or sexy slingback works really well.

I love just how many wears to wear a corduroy blazer and style it for fall! Which is why I believe it really is the perfect fall layer.
