Everyday Elevated Pants

Trousers are the perfect fall go-to pant!

I’ve been seeing them styled all over this past month in so many fun ways and so many different styles to choose from as well. For the usual everyday denim wearer, trousers might seem a bit out of your comfort zone.

So, as a former default denim wearer who has switched to trousers, I wanted to share some of my favorites I’m wearing right now plus some other great ones for fall/winter. Personally, I love them as part of my go-to WFH or wear in tech office uniform.

Neutral Trousers

My most frequently worn pair of trousers are these ones from Shaina Mote. Choosing a color was the hardest part (and not choosing multiple!). I went with a nice light cream which not only look great with a fall color palette but will be nice to style next spring and summer as well. They fit true to size but if you’re in between I’d say size down.

A neutral pair is the perfect get-dressed-in-five-minutes pair of pants. Above is a good variation between fall fabrics and colors you can wear with really any top. The relaxed fit is not only comfortable but classic while also remaining casual.

Colorful Trousers

Another option is to add a pair of trousers in a fun bright color! I just recently added this red pair to my wardrobe and I’m delightfully surprised how many of my tops pair well with them.

I think it’s fun to stick with classic fall hues like reds, oranges, and greens but bright pinks, yellows, or purples make for an unexpected fall color palette.

If you’re looking for a new everyday pant, that’s slightly elevated yet still casual, trousers this season are perfect. Wear with sweaters, t-shirts, button-ups, or even slinky silk tanks. So many different ways.

Would love to hear your favorite ways to wear these!
