3 Ways to Wear White Tights

White tights right now have been a great alternative to my usual cold weather black tights. Since it’s not quite spring but not totally winter, I wanted to share ways I’m wearing my more summery dresses and shorts now. Especially after my most recent tropical vacation where I’m now not capable of fully going back to a winter wardrobe!

To be honest, white tights intimidated me for the longest time. I had them sitting in my closet not totally sure how to wear them or if they’d stand out too much. But after seeing some really fun inspiration on the most recent runway shows, I decided to just give them a go and was pleasantly surprised. It’s also nice to have a new bottom option to wear during the week.

An all white monochrome look is a favorite and so simple. Especially with a navy or brown wool coat on top. It feels so fresh for spring while also being appropriate for March weather. Also, this skirt is proving itself to be season-less. Both simple for wither with a fun pair of white or even colorful tights and will be great on it’s own for spring.

I love that I ended up matching my cat Newton here (who loves to help with taking outfit photos). But you really can’t go wrong with a black and white look. Always so timesless.

Other ways to style a black and white look could be a simple black dress with knee high boots. Or with a black and white patterned dress like this beautiful Marimekko one.

Lastly, add a pair of white tights under a spring dress and layer with boots and a sweater. I like the many layers working together here and a pull on sweater that’s easy to remove if it gets warm. Then layer under a coat for cold evenings and nights. I also was expecting to like the white tight and cowboy boot combo but I ended up loving it!

So, if you’re looking for ways to work white tights into your outfits, I’d opt for simple like white monochrome or all black. Or throw them on under a fun pattern dress for a super quick style.
