Summer Suiting

This time of year, I love breaking out my favorite linen blazer and matching shorts that I’m wearing here. One of my favorite purchases for the cooler San Francisco summers. And a duo that’s perfect for so many different events. From a summer weekday work look to a weekend around the city when I’m feeling like a menswear look.

I’ve always been attracted to menswear tailoring and accessories for women. But with a slight feminine touch. The look feels so classically ’40s and ’50s inspired without looking costume-y.

If you’re looking for a full suiting look, these monk straps are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. A classic loafer like these always works too! I also really like the idea of a woven flat like these for summer suiting. I think they add a nice feminine touch. I would pair them with a bag in a matching color!

As for tops, my go-to’s are either a classic button up or a fitted t-shirt. Alex Mill makes some of my favorite easy linen tops that come in so many fun colors. One of these t-shirts in solid or stripes wold look great with a blazer shorts sets too!
