Weekday Fall Uniform

I recently started a new job and so have had to recalculate my fall uniform a bit. I wanted to lean back into what I used to wear prior to working from home full time. Trousers, button ups, sweaters, loafers, and blazers. A lot of menswear influence with a feminine touch. I’ve also missed getting more dressed up during the week so I’m excited to get fancier. And despite being on the dressier side, the uniform still has to be comfortable. Especially the shoes for walking around San Francisco.

These Shaina Mote trousers are at the top of my list when choosing from the trousers in my closet. They feel very Katherine Hepburn my ultimate style icon! They’re also super comfortable.

As for shoes, I like to switch between a more business type shoe like the monk straps I’m wearing here and a very worn in loafer. I’ve also been meaning to add a boat shoe to my wardrobe to wear as an everyday shoe. Probably a pair of Sperry’s which are a classic. Or, to really splurge, the popular Miu Miu pair.
