10 December Wardrobe Favorites
I can’t believe we are already halfway through December! But very excited Christmas is getting closer. I’ll be spending the holiday in Tampa and then New Years in Philadelphia. Already planning on how to pack a carry-on with both resort and winter clothes. Definitely a challenge! San Francisco basically has one season so I’m always excited to get both summer and winter weather in one go!
Aside from holiday planning, I wanted to share some wardrobe favorites from this month. Tried and true classics I’ve been wearing the most this month that I think you’d like too. From very good layering pieces, to versatile shoes and accessories, see below ten favorites from the month of December!
Simple Turtleneck
I purchased this simple turtleneck in both black and bright blue and been wearing them both weekly. They’re light enough too that they’re perfect for layering.
Bright Cashmere Sweater
I’ve been living in this bright v-neck cashmere sweater. I also have it in the lovely peach color. It’s a great layering piece while adding a nice pop of color.
Corduroy Pants
Corduroy pants are a favorite this fall. I wrote about styling a pair of white ones here and ways to style. They’re the perfect everyday pant.
Mine are currently sold out but I love Alex Mill pants and these are very similar.
Classic Leather Boots
You can’t go wrong investing in a really good pair of calf or knee high classic leather riding boots. An item that will last years and years and always go with everything.
I love this pair from Tory Burch. My Tory Burch leather boots have lasted me almost a decade! I’ve also been eyeing this suede pair. They’re so chic.
Long Wool Coat
Same as leather boots, a well fitted and comfortable wool coat you love makes getting dressed for cold weather so much more enjoyable.
This light grey wool coat is the perfect shape and length you could wear with anything.
Beret
I just shared the other day about my favorite style of winter hat. The light blue goes with so many things.
Leather Loafers
December’s most worn shoes are my loafers. I wear my Gucci pair a ton but I also have everyday versions of this very favorite style.
These ones from Sam Edelman are super similar and so comfortable.
White Tights
White tights are a new addition to outfits this month. I’ve been wearing them more than my classic black tights. Trying new ways to wear them is also a fun activity. I have this exact pair but these are also nice for a lower price point.
Loose Fit Jeans
For days I’m not wearing trousers, I prefer these looser fitting jeans that perfectly fit over my tall leather boots and favorite cowboy boots.
Patent Ballet Flats
For dressing up without heels, a pair of patent flats are my favorite more versatile and practical shoe to wear around the city.
The little bow detail on these is so cute. These Mary Janes would also be fun to style!
